This site is run by Sabrina’s Reach4Life Inc. (ABN 55 102 185 422). We collect as little as we can. Here is what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Your story. The title and story you write, plus the details you choose in the form: gender, age group, category, tags and, if you want, your state.
- Your first name, only if you choose not to be anonymous.
- Your email, only if you add it. A moderator will email you once when your story is published, then delete your email address. It is never shown on the site.
- Contact messages. If you write to us, we keep your name, email and message so we can reply.
- A scrambled network address. To limit spam we keep a scrambled version of your network address, used only for that purpose and deleted automatically, usually within a day.
- Reactions. When you tap a reaction such as “This helped me”, only the total is stored. It is anonymous.
There are no accounts on this site. We do not run advertising tags.
How we measure visits
We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand which pages people visit and whether they open support options, start a form or complete a submission. We use Microsoft Clarity on public reading pages to understand how people navigate the site. These services may use cookies and collect device, browser, approximate location and usage information. We send fixed event labels and page paths to Analytics, not the words you type into forms or stories.
Clarity uses strict masking to hide page text and form fields in its recordings. It does not run on the story submission page, story pages, the thank-you page or the admin area. Analytics and Clarity may process usage data outside Australia. See the Google Privacy Policy and Microsoft Privacy Statement for their handling of that data.
You can limit cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics will not stop you using the site or submitting a story.
Who sees it
YSMS moderators see submitted stories, emails and messages so they can review them and reply. A story is public only after it has been approved, and then only the story, the details you chose and your first name if you gave one.
Asking for something to be removed
You can ask us to remove a published story or a message you sent. Email Info@sabrinasreach4life.com.au and tell us which story or message it is. Please don’t put sensitive details in the email.
Young people
People under 15 are encouraged to involve a parent, carer or trusted adult when they share a story or contact us.
